River Bank Clean-Up at Sangamwadi
Cadets of Sea Cadet Corps in association with IMF conducted River Bank Clean Up at Sangamwadi on 04 Feb 2024. About 50 boy and girl cadets from the SCC participated in the event and succeeded in restoring the river bank to its original, pristine state after sustained efforts.
IMF Members present on the occasion exhorted the young Sea Cadets to impress upon their parents, relatives and friends the importance of keeping our rivers and seas free of pollution such as plastics, discharged toxic effluents and raw sewage, which could seriously endanger the marine biodiversity and have a cascading effect on the health of human beings dependent on fish and other marine life as food.
