MANET hosts IMF

MANET hosted the Indian Maritime Foundation on the 2nd of August 2016. Prof. Nilambari Jadhav and Capt. Vilas Pimpalkhare made presentations on “Global Warming – Challenges to the Maritime Industry”. IMF was represented by Commodore Rajan Vir, President and founder of IMF, Commander Sati Taneja, Vice President IMF and Chairman of the Awards Committee and Mr. Yezdi Batliwala, Governing Council Member IMF and member of the Awards Committee.

MANET had received a communication from IMF for members of our faculty and Cadets to write a paper on “GLOBAL WARMING – CHALLENGES TO THE MARITIME INDUSTRY”. Prof. Nilambari Jadhav and Capt. Vilas Pimpalkhare rose to the occasion and sent their papers. There were a total of 32 entries for this award: 2 from MANET, 4 from Tolani Maritime Institute and the remaining from the Indian Navy.
