IMF Annual Seminar 2014
“Security Management of India’s Seaborne Traffic and Offshore Installations”
The IMF conducted a Seminar at Pune on the 25th of September 2014. The title of the Seminar was, “The Security Management of India’s Seaborne Traffic and Offshore Installations.” It was widely reported by all local newspapers.
The Chief Guest was Vice Admiral Satish Soni, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief Eastern Naval Command. Vice Admiral Vinod Pasricha (Retd.) delivered the Inaugural Address and Vice Admiral PS Chauhan (Retd.), the concluding address. Rear Admiral RM Purandare, FODAG, was one of the Moderators. The Welcome address was delivered by Cmde Rajan Vir (Retd.), and Rear Admiral Mohanrao (Retd.), the Convenor, proposed the vote of thanks. A large and well informed audience of about 90 persons contributed in the lively discussions.
