World Ship Trust Award
The Indian Maritime Foundation (IMF) is the Coordinator in India for the World Ship Trust (WST), UK. This trust presents awards for outstanding contribution in the Maritime Domain to organizations and individuals. Vice Admiral Vinod Pasricha (Retd,) was selected for this award a few years ago for his initiative, guidance and leadership in setting up the Submarine Museum at Ramakrishna Beach, Vishakapatnam, when he was FOC-IN-C East. The award was presented to him by Vice Admiral Satish Soni, FOC-IN-C East at a grand ceremony, appropriately held against the background of the Submarine Kursura. Cmde Rajan Vir (Retd.), President IMF read out the Citation.
